Killerspin is a fairly new American table tennis brand that has really focused on the recreational ping pong market. They have even labelled their bats/rackets “paddles” to appeal to the basement US audience. Their paddles aren’t cheap but they are well-made, and the best ones are actually pretty decent too.

The paddle features two 2.0mm ITTF approved Killerspin Nitrx-4Z rubbers (same as the JET500, JET600, and JET700). This means you could legally use the racket in a sanctioned tournament or league. This looks like a decent premade racket for improving table tennis players who want to invest in a higher quality paddle. It might be a little fast for new players.
The Review
The Killerspin JET800 paddle is aimed at club-level competitive players. It actually has a lot of decent reviews on Amazon – so it must be a fairly good paddle.
The 2.0mm Killerspin Nitrx-4Z rubbers are the best Killerspin have to offer. The carbon blade gives this racket a lot more power than any of the others.
This is an OFF table tennis racket. It is the fastest on other from Killerspin. You can expect a fair amount of spin from the rubbers and a big increase in pace.
The JET800 is very expensive for a premade table tennis racket, but then again all Killerspin products carry premium price tags. I think you can get better for the money, though. For that price, you could easily build yourself a custom racket via a table tennis specialist like Megaspin.net!

Other Options
If you are thinking about buying a Killerspin JET800 table tennis paddle I would personally recommend going for the Palio Legend 2 instead. The Palio Legend 2 is $40 cheaper and I believe is the superior racket. The Palio Hadou rubbers used on the Legend 2 are of a much higher quality than the Killerspin ones. Palio Hadou rubbers are closer to professional rubbers such as DHS Hurricane 3.
The wooden Palio Legend 2 blade is also much better quality and more similar to the professional blades you can buy individually. If you were to compare the Killerspin JET800 to the Palio Legend 2 side-by-side you would immediately be able to notice the difference between the two rackets. The Palio Legend 2 simply feels a lot better to play with.
Your other option would be to invest in a custom-made racket combo – selecting a blade and rubbers individually.
